Proper cable laying and end-terminations can not taken for granted. Most of the short circuits and electrical faults happen due to improper electrical fittings.

There are several points of consideration to be taken care while performing electrical fittings:

•  Cable/wire to be chosen as per the ampere rating required.
• Proper glands, thimbles, insulation tapes should be used.
• Cable trenches should be proper.
• Laying of cables should be properly fitted whether in tray,trench or wall. 
• End terminations should proper.
